Abraham Mr. & Mrs. Walt Jarek and family Ron & Pat Bowman and family God used the Fall Revival Services in a wonderful way in so many lives. Our hearts were touched by the strong, biblically based messages from Dr. Hamblen, which were directed by God straight to our lives. Many worked so hard to get friends and family to attend; thank you for carrying a burden for souls! During the week we had dozens of visitors and a glorious response to the invitations as nine people were saved in the services The meetings were well attended by our members and friends; thank you for being faithful to the house of God! We would like to give a special thanks to our Revival committee who worked to make this meeting successful: Thelma Cartwright- Pastors' Fellowship Dave and Lesley Mills- Pack A Row Night and Thursday prayer Barbara Moore- Sunday Night Fellowship Patty Papin- Decorations Paul Cloud- Sunday School Promotion Eileen Rupertus- Sunday School Promotion Dana Papin- Music Kip and Donna Dilliplane- Youth and Pizza Night All ladies of Calvary are invited to the Ladies’ Christmas Fellowship On Tuesday December 9th at 7:30 at Pastor and Thelma Cartwright’s home. There will be testimonies, a devotional and delicious goodies to munch on! Plan to join us for a fellowship time that will be a blessing to you! All of our “senior” adults (age 55 and above) are invited to the Christmas Luncheon at Pastor and Thelma Cartwright’s home at 11:00 am. We’ll enjoy a wonderful meal together and we will celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ as we worship Him in song and testimony. All of our weekly teachers and helpers are invited to join us for a Christmas celebration dinner on Saturday December 13th at Pastor and Thelma Cartwright’s home at 6:30 pm. Please make plans to join us for a an evening of great food, fun and fellowship. We are so thankful for each of you and look forward to this evening together! God has continued to bless the Faith In Action building fund as people are being faithful to the commitments that they have made to the Lord. Each week God seems to encourage us in some special way to remind us that He is the one who has begun this plan, and He is the one who is going to complete it. Recently we received new commitments and gifts that brought our Faith in Action totals to over $221,249.42. This takes us over our "Much Faith Goal" of $210,000.00 and gives us great joy in the faithful and abundant grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May we all pause now to give Him praise and glory! Nov 21st We will have a guys "Madden Tournament" on Friday, November 21st from 6:00-10:00 P.M. Bring $5.00 for food.
