God has done some very exciting things in the thirty years that I have been pastor of Calvary Independent Baptist Church, but none may be more exciting than the building project that we are now embarking on. The opportunities for ministry in this vast metropolitan area are boundless and with this new church building, I believe God is going to open doors for the gospel of Jesus as never before.

It has been a long awaited desire and vision for the church to have a church sanctuary, fellowship hall, and kitchen area that could service the multiple needs of the ministries God has given us. Now we are on the verge of seeing this “mountain” move from vision to reality. This FAITH IN ACTION campaign has it’s foundation in spiritual matters, and God has told us that He would enable us to move our mountains by FAITH.

God has always demonstrated the power of faith through the deeds of individuals. Once it was a little boy who gave his lunch and 5,000 men were fed. Another time Jesus used four men who were carrying their sick friend and lowered him down through the roof of the house to perform a miracle of salvation and healing. And now He wants to use the Members and Friends of Calvary to accomplish the great miracle which stands before us. Let us all do our part as we put our FAITH INTO ACTION! May Jesus Christ be glorified and many souls be saved through the mountain moving faith of each one of us!
